What is an ICT MAKEOVER?
An ICT Makeover is where you, as the teacher, with the ICT Project Officer and your peers study a Unit of Work and identify where technology can be further embedded into either or all of the following:
(a) Lesson Preparation - either on your own or with a group of teachers collaborating on the Unit of Work, and/or
(b) Lesson Delivery, and/or
(c) Classroom Activities, and/or
(c) Student Homework Activities, and/or
(d) Student Revision Activities, and/or
(e) Student Assessment.
ICT Makeover sessions on a Wednesday afternoon will begin around 345pm and conversations with the ICT Project Officer can continue over into another time. It is important to plan a makeover - have a look at the Integrating ICTs into Teaching and Learning page of this WIKISPACE for more details and some scope to assist you in the planning process.
